“You will run again, because that’s what the people of Boston are made of. Your resolve is the greatest rebuke to whoever committed this heinous act…. It should be pretty clear by now that they picked the wrong city.” - President Obama
After the bombing at the Boston marathon this past April, Good Question Ink knew that we had to do something. The people of Boston responded with strength, courage, and love. We wanted to honor that, the people of this great city, who supported - and continue to support - one another in beautiful ways. A city truly is as strong as its people and Boston has some of the strongest people around.
With our first run of shirts we were able to raise $3000 for The One Fund and The Richard Family Fund. We will be selling another run of shirts next spring to raise even more money to support the survivors and to further celebrate the people of this great city.
As the 2014 Boston Marathon came into sight, we once again knew that we had to do what we could to support our great city. For this year's shirt we wanted to celebrate the soul of Boston; which has displayed itself stronger than ever during this past year. We wanted to honor all those who will be running on their soles on Patriot's Day in honor of Boston's soul.
This year we once again supported the One Fund as well as two charities in which the Marathon supports: Dana Farber Cancer Center and The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp. We raised an additional $1500 for these great causes.
